America’s Favorite Jeweler, Ross-Simons, a division of Luxury Brand Holdings, is seeking a Vice President of IT Development and Tech Services. This role will lead our IT function, including software and web development, risk management, and Tech Services. The VP will collaborate closely with executive leadership to ensure that our information technology solutions match the organization’s strategy and goals. This leader will be responsible for ensuring that our systems are secure, scalable, and efficient, while also developing a high-performing, cross-functional team. The Vice President of IT will prioritize and oversee the organization’s IT initiatives as a strategic partner within the company.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic IT Leadership:

  • Develop the IT strategy and technical roadmap for the company, working cross-functionally to understand the needs of the business in alignment with the company’s strategic priorities.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the IT organization and the Executive team
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to assess their potential impact and recommend strategic options.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and standards to ensure best practices and compliance.

IT Development Oversight:

  • Lead the ongoing development and optimization of our e-commerce platform (Sales Force Commerce Cloud) ensuring a modern, high-performance shopping experience.
  • Oversee software & website development initiatives, ensuring high-quality delivery of technology solutions.
  • Implement Agile methodologies to enhance the development process.
  • Establish roadmap for company’s software solutions and data management capabilities

Operational Management:

  • Manage the IT budget, optimizing spending and ensuring cost-effective technology solutions.
  • Lead IT projects from concept through completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Ensure reliable performance of IT systems and rapid resolution of operational issues.
  • Accountable for the justification and prioritization of technology initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technologies and products.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team of developers, system engineers, and helpdesk analysts.
  • Create an environment of exceptional teamwork within the IT function and across other peer groups.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging continuous improvement and experimentation.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Implement, integrate, and maintain risk management, business continuity, and disaster recovery procedures across the business, based on a thorough understanding of key IT services that must be maintained to reduce financial loss and ensure critical customer service capability.
  • Strengthen our cybersecurity framework to protect company data and systems, leading incident response and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, data protection laws, and industry standards.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or MS preferred.
  • 15+ years of overall IT experience, with at 6+ years in progressive leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement IT growth strategies that align with company evolution and expansion. Skilled in sourcing, supporting, and retaining talent to achieve functional objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant e-commerce technologies, cybersecurity best practices, and data management; experience with SFRA web development a plus
  • Proven track record in managing IT projects and budgets, with vendor management expertise.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with diverse teams and influence decision-making at all levels
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
