Traffic Clerk

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a pay range of $18.50 to $21.50, depending on experience.

Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments. Plan and direct driver’s assignments including checking them in, assigning their doors, and checking them out once the load is complete.

Are you looking for a dynamic work environment where you can be at the center of operations? Join us as a 1st shift Traffic Clerk , where you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth delivery and shipping processes while engaging with drivers and team members.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact for delivery drivers, ensuring a positive and efficient experience
• Receive, count, and log cash from carriers (where applicable)
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure shipping and receiving documents are completed accurately and on time
• Verify and count products to ensure data accuracy in the system
• Notify carriers and team members of pending, no-shows, or unscheduled arrivals
• Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments as necessary
• Enter data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) scheduler

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with internal and external customers
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic math skills (required at some facilities)
• Ability to work in various temperatures: from -20°F in cold storage to 100°F in dry storage (company-provided protective gear for extreme conditions)
• Flexibility to work a range of schedules and shifts, including weekends, if necessary
• Must be comfortable with noise levels, which may vary from moderate to loud, depending on the environment
• Physical capability to lift at least 20 lbs., with heavier lifting depending on facility needs
