Human Resources Assistant

ProAg is seeking our next Human Resource Assistant in our Maple Grove, MN office. This person will support the HR team by performing various activities, including responding to email inquiries, conducting employee onboarding, running multiple reports, and answering routine questions about HR policies and procedures.

In This Exciting Opportunity You Will

• Assist the HR team by performing administrative duties in various areas of HR.
• Enter and maintain accurate employee information in the Company HR information system (HRIS), including new hires, terminations, employment changes, etc.
• Answer primarily routine questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Process new hires and terminations and assist with posting new job requisitions, etc.
• Coordinate terminations and other processes with other departments, including notifying IT of terminations or status changes.
• Assist with any follow-up with employees and management regarding unapproved time, entry, or paid time off (PTO).
• Monthly reporting of new hires, terminations, and retention. Along with any requested reports from leadership.
• Participate in various HR-related projects in areas such as Payroll, HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Generalist roles, Learning & Development, and Project Management.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field or the equivalent education and/or experience required
• 2 or more years of relevant and progressive professional experience, preferably in Human Resources

This hybrid position has four days in our Maple Grove, MN office.
