CardWorks Servicing ("CWS") is one of the largest privately-held provider of outsourcing services for bankcard-related products to banks and non-bank lenders in North America. CWS offers management expertise across the credit spectrum and supports both MasterCard and Visa accounts as well as a variety of private label debit, credit, stored value, and customer bankcards.

Position Summary

At CardWorks, our mission is to provide customized and compliant servicing and asset management to our clients to produce their desired end-customer experience The Analyst I role makes this possible by working with key stakeholders, including Technology teams, Client Relationship, Finance, Marketing and Risk Analytics and third-party providers to develop and administer solutions in Cardworks Data and Analytics environment.

As part of Data and Analytics, this role will report to the Manager and will be responsible for building process, maintaining, and fixing issues leveraging good technical and function skills. This role will deploy new processes, improve existing business processes, expand use of automation, and reduce manual efforts. This role will be responsible in working with Affiliates and Client Relationship Management for project work within internal departments and for Clients, ensuring all internal audit controls and Client specific policies are followed.

Essential Functions

  • Build knowledge and drive innovation and digital transformation by utilization of cloud tools and technologies recommended within the organization.
  • Lead independent discussions among stake holders to evaluate, develop, setup, test and implement new functionalities in Data warehouse processes.
  • Develop good understanding of internal processes and dependencies.
  • Research and investigate issues / tickets and apply required fixes.
  • Understand business requirements and develop solutions using technologies used within the organization
  • Support for data / process validation for internal and client specific processes.
  • Design and develop data extracts based on end user’s requirements.
  • Ensure audit procedures and controls are followed and recommend improvements to the audit controls environment as needed.
  • Ensure corporate standards are followed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the field of Computer Science, Finance, Business Management, Information services or related field.
  • Over 2 years of experience in Database, Data warehouse and Data Analytics environment
  • Demonstrated experience in Finance data processing and operational process developments.
  • Proficiency in building Data warehouse processes using SAS, SQL, Python and or other related programming languages.

Summary Of Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in programming languages SAS and SQL.
  • Knowledge in Cloud platforms AWS, Snowflake
  • Knowledge and prior usage of Python and Notebooks
  • Expert level understanding on Database and DWH concepts.
  • Good knowledge on Finance domain/ Credit card Operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Leads and demonstrates CardWorks core values.
  • Strives to gain knowledge of the company and business operations.
