CAD TECH | ONSITE | SHREVEPORT, LA

The Select Group is looking for a talented CAD Tech to join one of our top Utilities partners. This person will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on project requirements and specifications. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Please note, this position will be fully onsite for the first six months, and then switch to a hybrid schedule.

Cad Tech Requirements

• 2-5 years of CAD-related experience
• Associates degree OR CAD certification and high school diploma
• Bonus skill: Utilities or Gas experience
  
  

Cad Tech Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on project requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project objectives and requirements.
• Interpret sketches, blueprints, and other technical documentation to produce accurate CAD drawings.
• Ensure that drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Incorporate revisions and modifications to drawings as directed by project managers or clients.
• Maintain organized files and documentation for all CAD drawings and related materials.
• Assist in the preparation of design presentations and documentation.
• Conduct quality checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of drawings.
• Stay updated on the latest CAD software and tools and recommend improvements to workflow processes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
