Role Summary/Purpose:

The VP, Health & Wellness Analytics, Provider Activation role will be responsible for formulating and implementing strategies to optimize enrolled healthcare provider performance, helping to drive organic growth within Synchrony’s Health & Wellness platform. This role will work across business functions to propose new ideas, gain agreement, manage test and learn, and formulate successful and well-coordinated provider touch strategies. Success will require the application of advanced analytics techniques and the cultivation of strong working relationships within Health & Wellness platform and across Synchrony, working with leadership team across multiple business function including: Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, Credit, Product, etc.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Deeper and advanced test & learn approach to analyze the impact of provider interactions
  • Create provider segmentation strategies to unlock more potential from existing providers
  • Develop mechanism to identify high potential providers across various B2B lifecycle stages
  • Partner cross-functionally to test and learn from multi-channel interactions with providers
  • Explore ingesting new B2B touch data to better understand holistic provider journey; propose preferred journey experience
  • Develop framework to measure the ROI of salesforce investments
  • Support ad-hoc initiatives and projects as needed

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or in lieu of degree, a high school diploma and 9+ years of advanced analytics experience supporting healthcare, dental, veterinary, B2B marketing, credit card and/or financial services/banking specialities.
  • A minimum of 7+ years of analytics experience to include:
    • 5 years of advanced analytics experience supporting B2B sales, B2B marketing, credit, and/or finance
    • 5 years of experience utilizing SAS for data mining, and using advanced spreadsheet and presentation tools
    • 3 years of experience with Tableau to create, design and modify reports
    • 5 years of experience with Powerpoint
    • Ability to travel up to 10%
Desired Characteristics

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, finance, business, or other quantitative fields
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of advanced analytics experience supporting B2B sales and /or marketing at a Fortune 100 company, preferably at a bank or within financial services sector
  • B2B experience to include B2B and B2B2C
  • 5 years of project management experience
  • Ability to influence senior management by building and delivering compelling recommendations
  • Ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships
  • Ability to drive change within a highly matrixed organization

Grade/Level: 12

The salary range for this position is 130,000.00 - 210,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
