Job Summary:

Licensing plays an important role in Round 2’s strategy and you will be responsible for coordinating all activities within our licensing partners, including communication, contract review, and ensuring the company is compliant with the licensing agreements. This role requires a candidate who is detail oriented and is able to work collaboratively. This position reports directly to the CEO.

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Partners with internal teams to execute licensing relationships and agreements.
  • Prepares contract (new, renewals, amendments) with summaries and other exhibits that may be required.
  • Submits contracts to Licensors for approval as needed.
  • Communicates licensor specific information to production, creative, finance, and marketing departments. Ensures compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Confirms all required approvals are in place with the production.
  • Coordinating contractual samples for licensors.
  • Compiles data and maintains contract status in system databases.
  • Creates a monthly list for new items sold previous month to confirm accurate royalties and licensors.
  • Review and approve royalties from quarterly calculations to confirm accuracy with the accounting department.
  • Finalizes and uploads documentation to the licensor.
  • Maintains and distributes weekly status report on contract open issues.
  • Will handle the inhouse Round 2 compliance with our trademarks.
  • Coordinates key communications with licensors.
  • Other duties as assigned by CEO.


Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree required or equivalent experience in paralegal or licensing field.
  • Certifications related to licensing and compliance preferred
  • Highly detailed and organized
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft 360 products including Excel and PowerPoint
