Position Overview

The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for managing the project execution, quality, and communication. They will lead and motivate the internal project team from kickoff to the close of the project, ensuring that all team members are working towards a shared goal.

Performance Requirements

  • Background in project management, including project plans, scope, and timelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking skills to move projects forward
  • Proactively mitigates project risk, identifying potential issues before they arise
  • Possess a preference for working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Extremely organized and able to manage and prioritize several projects at once
  • Stays current on team progress and report risks in schedule delays or quality to key stakeholders.
  • Provide helpful, timely and clear communications to stakeholders and team members including meeting agendas and recaps and regular project status updates
  • Manage the administrative functions of the project, open jobs and ensure tasks are assigned in the appropriate project management tool(s)
  • Understand the overall objective and how the pieces of the project will come together
  • Ensure the team has what they need to complete their work
  • Be empowered to make decisions and know when to involve others in decisions (marketing planner, creative director or full team).
  • Prepares creative briefs as needed

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or related, preferred and 2+ years of experience
  • Understanding of retail, digital media, ecommerce, preferred
  • Experience in unifying cross-functional teams, peers and partners
  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem solver, self-motivated and results oriented
  • Customer obsessed
  • Agility through change
