Saddleback Church’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity and budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. The estimated pay rate for this position is $23.00-$26.00 per hour. We will provide a pay rate within our salary structure that fits a candidate’s qualifications and experience for the job. Description
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Staffing
- Post open positions as directed by HR team leaders.
- Review incoming applications and identify qualified candidates.
- Communicate proactively with ministry leaders on staffing needs and applicant statuses.
- Communicate regularly with candidates on application status.
- Facilitate each step of the interview process.
- Process administrative documentation for new hires, internal transfers, and separations.
- Continually maintain and fully utilize Saddleback’s HR systems.
- Act as the main point of contact for employment inquiries from the public.
- Oversee the process of hiring independent contractors
- Support HR leaders with implementing new systems, training, and other programs.
- Conduct research at the direction of the Sr. Director of HR.
- Prepare all materials for employee orientations.
- Two or more years of Human Resources experience as a generalist and experience in staffing preferred.
- Deep understanding of Saddleback Church.
- Experience with Google Workspace is highly desirable.
- Experience working with UKG Pro or another applicant tracking system.
- Excellent communication skills via email, phone, and in-person with all levels of an organization.
