Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee all financial aspects of our winery operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, preferably within the food and beverage industry or agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and financial partners
• Lead and mentor the finance team
• Collaborate with senior management on financial decision-making
• Optimize financial processes and systems
  
  

Essential Functions

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Manage cash flow and financial forecasting
• Oversee cost accounting for wine production
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls
• Coordinate annual audits and tax filings
• Monitor industry trends and their financial implications
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• 7+ years of progressive experience in financial management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
