Job Title: Assistant Operations Manager
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Compensation: $65,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience
Job Overview: Matrix Home Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support our growing operations team. This role will work closely with our operations Manager, focusing on permit processing and assisting with entry-level tasks. The ideal candidate will also provide scheduling support to various offices and serve as backup when Coordinators are out of the office (OOTO), giving this position a regional reach.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with permit processing, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
Support entry-level tasks for the Operations Manager, including administrative duties and follow-up on operational tasks
Provide scheduling support across multiple offices, particularly when Coordinators are unavailable
Collaborate with regional teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
Maintain excellent communication across all departments to ensure operational efficiency
Requirements
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Experience in permit processing or a related field is a plus
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field preferred but not required
