Administrative Assistant

Growing global chemical manufacturer is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the team at their production site in Lafayette, IN. This position is responsible for providing communication, schedule and office management to assist in making the department/areas more productive and efficient. You would be maintaining communication and support for various departments and area management for meetings and events. You would also ensure compliance with company guidelines and policies and perform general administrative tasks.

The team is very innovative and the work is fulfilling. Their leadership is knowledgeable, engaged and supportive. This position does require to be onsite and would be M-F 8am-5pm schedule. This is a long term temporary assignment(1 1/2+ years) with potential for extension and potential conversion in the future.

Requirements

• 2+ years of office management and/or administrative support experience. Preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Good problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
