Ed Morse Automotive Group is currently looking for a General Manager in the state of Florida

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all operations of a Florida dealership.
• Maximize return on investment through effective profit and loss management, daily operations, and the development and execution of short- and long-term marketing plans for growth.
• Manage and protect company assets while developing employees for future growth opportunities.
• Establish and communicate dealership policies and operating procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive records and reports to evaluate dealership performance.
• Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and termination processes.
• Conduct regular performance reviews for direct reports.
• Set and/or approve compensation plans for dealership employees.
• Provide necessary training for the management team, ensuring they have the skills required for success (e.g., seminars, sales training, technical training, etc.).
  
  

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in automotive General Management.
• Proven track record of running a profitable automotive dealership.
• Strong leadership skills with a stable and successful employment history.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with dealer management and manufacturer software, with CDK preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
