Lead Stand-alone Chiller Technician

This position is assigned to both Standalone and Distribution Chiller Systems and is responsible for small to large industrial chiller maintenance with varying manufacturers. This will include preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting technical problems (both control and mechanical) and making repairs and upgrades to chillers so that reliability is maintained. This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all auxiliary equipment supporting the chilled water system. This position will address most repairs including major inspections and teardowns of chillers. It is expected to understand how large chillers operate (centrifugal, screw, scroll, and absorption chillers) and be able to perform preventative maintenance as necessary, as well as, the repair and maintenance of cooling towers and related equipment. This will be a lead position. As such, it will assist with training, work assignments and fill in for Supervisor in their absence.
