This is an on-site position with career growth opportunities.Location:Berwyn, IllinoisDuties:Conduct legal research to support immigration cases and draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and motions.Provide written analyses of legal issues and case developments.Interact with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and address concerns.Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials, and argue motions on their behalf.Manage and organize case files, maintain documentation, and meet deadlines.Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and prepare for cases.Provide legal advice to clients, often under the supervision of senior attorneys.Stay informed about changes in immigration law and participate in continuing legal education.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:Bilingual in English and Spanish.Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing immigration or crimmigration law.Completion of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).Strong written and oral communication skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.Experience with immigration court proceedings, including asylum cases and removal proceedings, is highly desirable.Ability to collaborate with senior attorneys to serve client needs and grow the client base.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Successful completion of the bar exam.Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).Skills:Strong communication and problem-solving skills for working with clients, staff, and senior attorneys.Excellent legal research, drafting, and organizational skills.Experience in courtroom representation, especially in immigration-related matters.Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.Proficiency in both English and Spanish.Benefits:Paid vacation and holidays.401(k) plan with 6% employer match.100% employer contribution for medical coverage (including employee and qualifying dependents).Dental, vision, and supplemental insurance options available.$50,000 life insurance policy.Fitness gym membership.Career growth opportunities.Relocation bonus available.
