Are you looking for an opportunity to be a crucial part of a dynamic and innovative creative team? As Creative Coordinator, you will serve an important role for the team as you assume administrative duties that allow them to stay focused on the frontline. You will work closely with the creative team, establishing and maintaining relationships with publishers, labels, and other partners. If you have strong organizational skills, knowledge about music publishing, and are passionate about advancing songwriters’ careers, this would be the perfect chance for you!

What You’ll Be Doing.

  • Create Zoom links and/or assign writer rooms for co-writes.
  • Work with the Creative Director to reschedule any canceled co-writes.
  • Confirm co-writing sessions one week in advance for all writers.
  • Create Box links for various pitch meetings and/or pitches.
  • Manage and organize pitch information.
  • Assist the Creative Directors in managing and maintaining the Tip Sheet.
  • Foster relationships with other creative coordinators at other labels and publishing companies.
  • Manage and organize the Holds/Cuts/Releases log, our primary activity tracker.
  • Organize and distribute Weekly Charts and Releases to relevant parties.
  • Inform all of BMG about upcoming writers shows.
  • Accurately type and format lyrics for all submitted songs.
  • Manage and maintain social media accounts for BMG Nashville.
  • Handle miscellaneous errands and tasks for creative team.
  • Check the writer’s rooms each morning to ensure they are clean, functional and ready to use.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a supportive work environment.

Must Haves.

  • Fundamental understanding of music publishing and copyright industry practices.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and explain complex information, tailoring presentation and approach to various audiences.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to interpret and summarize music publishing forms and data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of managing and completing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly collaborative and adaptable outlook, with a positive mindset that embraces change and new ideas.
  • Self-starter with excellent prioritization skills, capable of effectively following through under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
