• Position:Logistics Operations Coordinator
• Shift:2nd Shift (current 10am-6:30pm EST)

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal will also have the following skills:Supply Chain, Operating Systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Inventory Control, Diagnostics, Microsoft Suite, Customer Service, Professional Etiquette (verbal + written).

Aminimum of (1) one year's experience in the following:

• Experience using a commercial software application such as OTM, Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP is highly preferred.
• Intermediate or higher experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• 1-2 years Report Writing experience. SQL experience would be preferred but not required.
• Experience with OTM, JDA, NTV, BLUE YONDER, and SAP is also a PLUS but not required.
• Experience within a Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution environment is highly preferred.
• Hands-on training and experience with technical software/hardware support within a company (preferably warehouse, supply chain, distribution, logistics).
• First-line point of contact to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair software and hardware related issues with end-users in the facility.
• This is NOT a traditional helpdesk or ticket/incident support position.

Role Purpose:

Assist in coordinating truck, rail, and international shipments. Provide communication to both shippers and carriers. Assist in coordinating and providing problem-solving and order management for customers.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assist in coordination of export/import shipments.
• Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments.
• Track and trace all shipments.
• Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s) – SAP.
• Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports.
• Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends.
• Proactively identify problems to management.
• Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed.
• Prepare client invoice packets
• Confirm rates with carriers.
  
  
  

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months – 1 year warehouse or logistics experience, preferred
• Communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually
