Key Responsibilities

• Repair and replace wiring as needed.
• Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics.
• Document all repairs and modifications comprehensively.
• Diagnose and resolve functionality and safety issues.
• Design and install electrical control systems, wiring, and lighting for both indoor and outdoor settings.
• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical systems, including components such as fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Stay informed about updates to the National Electric Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficient in running romex and bending conduit.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with fellow professionals, designers, and clients.
• Strong knowledge of National Electric Code and local building codes.
• Awareness of energy-efficient equipment and products.
• Skilled in using testing equipment and hand tools.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-3 years of electrical experience in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Proven experience with new builds, renovations, and historical restoration projects.
• An Associate degree in electrical technology is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Training and Safety certification is a plus.
