Job Overview

Join our esteemed RN New Grad Program, designed for recent nursing graduates eager to embark on their professional journey in a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment. This program provides structured training and mentorship opportunities to facilitate your transition into a nursing role at our reputable hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a comprehensive training schedule, typically Monday through Friday for 40 hours a week, with the potential for weekend shifts during holiday periods.
  • Engage in a preceptorship phase, completing three 12-hour shifts weekly in alignment with your preceptor’s schedule.
  • Attend all mandatory training sessions throughout the program.
  • Complete essential certifications, including BLS, ACLS, CPI, EKG, and NIH Stroke Scale.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated mentor to enhance integration into the nursing culture.
  • Attend frequent resident seminars that focus on professional development and evidence-based practices.

Required Skills

  • A passion for patient care and commitment to quality service.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Previous experience in medical or service industries is beneficial but not mandatory.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months.
  • No more than six months of RN experience, preferably less than two months in a hospital setting and no more than six months in home health or nursing home environments.
  • A current Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure prior to the start of the program.
  • Candidates enthusiastic about patient care will be prioritized.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Competitive salary: Med/Surg & PCU: \(29.81/hour, ICU: \)30.94/hour, Specialty: $32.79/hour.
  • Sign-on bonus of $10,000 with a two-year commitment, payable upon completion of training.
  • Relocation assistance considered on a case-by-case basis for out-of-state candidates.
