Finance Director

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Finance Director for our partner, a growing E-commerce company in South Florida! The Finance Director will play a pivotal leadership role in managing the financial health of the company while it works to rapidly scale revenue.

As a key member of the leadership team, this role involves providing financial oversight, strategic planning, and analysis to help achieve our ambitious growth objectives. This hands-on position requires a deep understanding of financial strategy and operational efficiency in a high-growth environment.

This hybrid remote full-time role with flexible work hours is available for immediate hire!

Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to drive growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Provide strategic insights to support business decisions and maximize financial performance.
  
  

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Lead the preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Ensure financial plans align with business goals and growth targets.
• Monitor performance against budgets and key metrics (KPIs).
  
  

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and present regular financial reports to executives and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Work with external auditors to facilitate annual audits.
  
  

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Identify and manage financial risks while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Enhance internal controls and financial processes.
  
  

Investment & Capital Allocation:

• Assess investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, to support growth.
• Oversee capital allocation and ensure efficient use of company resources.
  
  

Operational Finance:

• Partner with department heads to align financial objectives with operational strategies.
• Optimize cost structures, profitability, and manage company liquidity, including accounts payable/receivable.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Masters/MBA preferred).
• CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
• High-level experience in finance roles, ideally within the technology or software sector.
• Proven success in high-growth environments, scaling from mid-size to larger operations.
• Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and strategic planning.
• Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence decisions at the executive level.
