Job Overview

Alofa Care is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team, providing essential in-home support and companionship to elderly clients in the 46218 area. This full-time position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with immediate availability preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home companionship to elderly clients.
• Assist clients with personal hygiene needs, including showering, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Remind clients to adhere to their prescribed medication schedules.
• Aid clients in mobility tasks, both within the home and during outings (e.g., appointments, walks).
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals tailored to client preferences.
• Conduct shopping tasks for clients or accompany them to facilitate their shopping.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Respond promptly to any unusual incidents and manage emergencies with appropriate action.
• Engage clients in activities that are vital for daily living.
  
  

Required Skills

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.
• Current CPR certification.
• Comfortable working with clients of all genders.
• Exhibits a supportive and compassionate demeanor.
