Intern Orientation Highlights

Internship Program Requirements:

• Educational Background: Pursuing a four-year degree with an expected graduation between December 2025 and Summer 2027. Must have overall 2.8GPA
• Transportation: Interns must have their own transportation to and from work.
• Geographical Flexibility: Willing to relocate to one of our ADM locations.
• Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is required.
• Availability: Must be available for a summer internship from mid-May to early August 2025.

Job Summary

Join ADM as a Commodity Trader Summer Intern and apply your classroom knowledge in grain origination, sales, logistics, and risk management. Gain exposure to ADM's extensive network and collaborate with our leadership team to grow your career. Be an integral part of a trading team focused on building sustainable producer relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Market Trends: Analyze local, national, and global markets, and assess their impact on pricing.
• Project Work: Develop and present a project to enhance ADM’s market position or customer engagement.
• Decision Making: Make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced market.
• Logistics: Execute the best logistics strategies based on local freight dynamics.
• Customer Experience: Deliver outstanding service to differentiate ADM.
• Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal teams to support strategic goals.
• Contract Management: Ensure accurate and timely contract execution with administrative staff.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to evaluate and manage risk.
• Strategic thinker with effective execution in dynamic markets.
• Proficient with trading-related technology.
