Quality, efficiency, and safety all play a big role in our work at Danone. Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for the Supply Chain team. We are currently looking to hire a VP, Logistics based in White Plains, NY OR Broomfield, CO!

Our Operations function creates an integrated, streamlined, end-to-end value chain. Through the power of a single Operations function, we will deliver a superior product experience to our consumers, and through collaboration, we will turn our challenges into competitive advantages. With shared objectives and targets across the whole value chain, we will better allocate resources and prioritize high-value projects. The Logistics organization plays a critical role in delivering to our Customers and in satisfying Consumers by being the final touch of our product before it reaches the shelf.

In this role, you will be responsible for

  • You will lead the integrated Logistics capability for Danone US – inclusive of all strategy and execution.
  • You will be responsible for developing operating plans, with a focus on service, while driving continuous improvement and net productivity into our Logistics operations.
  • You will lead day to day operations as well as build a strategic framework, roadmap, and network to support the long-term growth ambitions of Danone North America.
  • You will sit on the Fulfillment, Strategy & Transformation leadership team.
  • You will own all Logistics spend across Transportation, Distribution and Fulfillment; one of the single largest spend categories in North America with responsibility for delivering the Logistics functional components of the rolling forecast cycles
  • You will have accountability for Transportation execution, Distribution operations and Fulfillment design, strategy and automation.
  • Implement, own, and refine processes, KPI’s and scorecards to drive functional accountability and deliver results.
  • Responsibility for balancing cost and service to deliver against Danone’s Customer and Consumer expectations.
  • Own Talent Management and development within the function

The base compensation range for this position is $230,000-300,000 commensurate with experience. About You

  • You will have a bachelor’s degree (Masters Degree preferred)
  • You will have 15+ years of related Logistics experience, ideally within the Consumer Products
  • You will have deep supply chain knowledge; with strong proficiency in supply chain management, including inventory control, transportation, and distribution
  • You will have an entrepreneurial mindset with strategic experience and thinking to optimize supply chains and drive efficiencies
  • You will have experience in Developing and managing interpersonal relationships to influence senior leadership decisions
  • You will have experience negotiating change and compromise with multiple levels of stakeholders across Operations
  • You will have previous knowledge of Microsoft products, excel, PowerPoint, Word
