Ride to Decide

Have you thought about a career in HVAC or Plumbing and didn’t know where to start? Ride to Decide is the best way to see what your future could look like. Our Ride to Decide program offers you the opportunity for job shadowing that steps out of the box, and into a van. You will have the chance to ride with one of our top service technicians for the day to see how they interact with customers, solve problems, and truly change lives. You can participate in this program regardless of your experience.

What to expect:

• After you fill out the Ride to Decide Application our Recruitment Manager will send you an email to schedule a time on the calendar to talk through the program and get your date scheduled. Dates to participate need to be scheduled at least a week in advance
• Once you schedule your date, you will be expected to arrive at our office no later than 7:30am and will ride with your Ride to Decide mentor until around 2:30pm. If you arrive later than 7:30 you may not be able to participate that day
• You can do a half day with HVAC and half day with Plumbing if you would like to. We just need to plan that at the time you select your date
• On your Ride to Decide date you will need to make sure to wear a work appropriate

• At the end of the day you will sit down 1:1 with our Recruitment Manager and talk about the day, what you learned, and talk through any next steps!
  
  

Who can participate:

We encourage anyone who is thinking about working in the trades to participate in the Ride to Decide program. We have had people from all walks of life step into a van and fall in love with having a career in the trades. You will get to see how our technicians are truly superheros.

To participate, you must be at least 16 years old and fulfill the following requirements:

• The ride-a-long will be considered a one-day internship and the participant will not receive any compensation for the day’s activities.
• The ride-a-long must ride with someone outside of their family. They cannot ride with someone they are directly related to.
• Participant must complete a required safetywaiver before they go into a van with the technician
