The role is fully remote, with court appearances required as needed. Ideal candidates have a strong background in personal injury litigation and a passion for helping injured victims achieve justice.Location:Weston, FLDuties:Manage all aspects of personal injury litigation casesConduct and oversee depositionsAttend mediations, negotiate settlements, and participate in global settlementsPrepare for and attend hearings, trial preparation, and take cases to trialMaintain and organize personal injury case filesOversee client medical care and communicate with clients, insurance companies, adjusters, doctors, and other attorneysParticipate in case management meetings to discuss case status and strategySupervise support staff on case handling from inception to closureDraft pleadings, discovery documents, mediation summaries, and demand lettersReview and approve demand packages, manage court filings, schedule mediation/trial prep, and ensure effective case managementProvide leadership and collaborate with Paralegals and Legal Assistants to move cases towards successful completionAddress and resolve potential client concerns or questions promptlyRequirements:Active member in good standing with the Florida BarMinimum of 10 years of overall litigation experience or at least 5 years in personal injury litigationThorough knowledge of the Florida Civil Rules of ProcedureProficient in drafting pleadings and familiarity with all stages of the litigation processStrong analytical, problem-solving, and writing skillsExperience with jury trials and comfort taking cases to trial (Florida jurisdiction)Knowledge of various insurance coverage types and policiesProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to manage multiple tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines and working with minimal supervisionExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Must have a current Florida Bar licenseSkills:High-level proficiency in litigation and trial preparationStrong organizational and case management skillsAbility to provide guidance and direction to support staffFamiliarity with insurance claims and policies related to personal injuryBenefits:Flexible, fully remote work environment
