Job Overview

As a Facility Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the operational efficiency and management of facilities. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of building operations, as well as the ability to foster strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met through effective management of personnel and resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain proactive relationships with customers to understand their operational requirements.
  • Review and authorize expenditures for various operational needs, including tools, equipment, and materials, while assisting in budget preparation.
  • Supervise facility personnel, including responsibilities related to hiring, promotions, recognition, and performance management.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics related to quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Address and resolve issues and conflicts while maintaining open lines of communication with clients, providing regular updates to ensure satisfaction.
  • Oversee the administration and performance of subcontractors, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management or building operations is required.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience encompassing management, budgeting, vendor management, and operations and maintenance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field is required.
