Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable insurance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of various commercial lines of insurance and be responsible for accurately managing client information in our agency management system. This role involves ensuring the timely renewal of policies, addressing client service requests, and effectively communicating with clients and carriers. The candidate will also analyze and recommend appropriate insurance policies, facilitate monthly renewal meetings, and assist in training departmental staff as needed.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time position working in our office located in Pasco, WA.

Professional Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of various commercial lines of insurance.
• Maintain and update client information for policy marketing and renewals.
• Ensure timely renewal of policies, including handling bind requests and billing needs.
• Address client service requests, such as proofs of insurance, policy changes, and billing inquiries.
• Communicate effectively with clients and carriers, understanding underwriting concepts.
• Facilitate monthly renewal meetings with Producers and staff.
• Analyze and recommend appropriate insurance policies based on client needs.
• Assist in training departmental staff when necessary.
• Handle premium finance agreements, cancellation procedures, and related accounting tasks.
• Efficiently use agency management systems and specific carrier rating systems.
  
  

Qualifications And Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Active Washington Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Intermediate experience working with an Agency Management system (preferred)
• Possesses intermediate understanding of insurance concepts and applications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Ability to work independently and quickly and accurately under pressure
• Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite and products
• Minimum typing speed of 45wpm
• Efficiently navigate a windows-based operating system in a dual screen environment
• A passion for being part of a team that drives our company to industry leadership
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both peers and clients

Pay Range: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience

A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
