Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is hiring a Awards Program Administrative Assistant to work in our Research Excellence Programs department reporting to the Director of Research Excellence Programs. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our EROB facility with every other Friday off. Hybrid work opportunities may be available for this position.

You will support the Awards Team's initiatives through administrative tasks, database management and collaborating with leaders and organizations across the laboratory to coordinate external recognition award packages for INL employees and project teams.

Responsibilities Include

  • Support management and organization in the completion of administrative assignments. Tasks may include tracking deliverables, filing records, creating, and editing documents, coordinating task completion, data entry into computer systems, confirming data.
  • Use software for functional area, to compile and create reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations.
  • May design processes to enhance workflow.
  • Maintain filing systems of relevant hard copy records, protecting personal and private information. Types of records may include training, security, contracts, employment, personal health, safety, radiological, government, and human resources.
  • Work with organization's internal and external customers providing quality customer service to meet organizational goals.
  • Relay information to pertinent internal and external stakeholders to support the completion of organizational and management deliverables.
  • Ensure that needed materials (documents, reports, flyers, white papers, agendas) for management and organization are created and distributed to related stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent and 4 years of experience.
  • Prior experience navigating various software database platforms.
  • Experience in Microsoft products
  • Experience writing, editing, and reviewing documents for accuracy

Job Information

  • The pay range for this position is: $ 21.90 Min - $36.13 Max. At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
