SHIPPING/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Spherion Staffing is now seeking a Shipping/Administrative Assistant to help at a local baking company. This role involves assisting with shipping and order fulfillment, as well as providing administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to multitask, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• $20/hr
• 20+ hours a week (up to 40 but not guaranteed)
• 7:30AM-4PM, Monday-Friday
  
  

Responsibilities

• Track shipments and manage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for order fulfillment.
• Handle customer inquiries related to shipping and deliveries, providing timely and accurate updates.
• Assist with general office tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
• Maintain records of orders, shipments, and inventory, updating databases and spreadsheets as needed.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries, providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Support the bakery team with scheduling, ordering supplies, and other administrative tasks as required.
• Communicate with customers regarding order details, shipment status, and any issues or delays.
