The Position
This position is responsible for managing the dental transcribing team as well as entering/maintaining dental notes for dental field team. Performing necessary administrative tasks in for clinical operations team.

Work is performed remotely (home office) or in a normal office setting in our Overland Park, KS headquarters with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent working on a computer.

The Position
This position is responsible for managing the dental transcribing team as well as entering/maintaining dental notes for dental field team. Performing necessary administrative tasks in for clinical operations team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Management of employees in the Transcription area including training and performance management.
- Assign sessions to transcribers for notes entry.
- Enter chart notes for dental field team assigned as chart notes are received.
- Conduct monthly quality review of notes entered by team for accuracy and address issues or provide training as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Training Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of medical scribe experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Management experience preferred.
- Problem solving—the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Customer service—responds promptly to customer needs regarding notes delivery, solicits operations team feedback to improve service, responds to requests for service and assistance and meets commitments.
- Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
- Quality control/Attention to detail—the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance.
- Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Dependability—the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Able to work in remote setting.
