HR Specialist

Pay:$25 to $35 / DOE NON REMOTE

Must have HR Experience (3 to 5 years)

Client is ideally looking for anyone within a 15 mile radius from Job site

Job Description:

• Administer company-wide human resource policies, procedures, and practices with stated company objectives and federal and state requirements
• Serve as a resource between management and employees by handling questions
• Facilitates employee benefits programs including responding, tracking and resolving benefit issues
• Facilitates onboarding process and conducts new hire orientation
• Facilitates offboarding process
• Administers workers compensation claims and participates in safety committee
• Assists in managing data and inquiries in ADP payroll platform
• Coordinates disability claims and leaves of absence
• Manages employee recordkeeping
• Attend meetings, training activities, and other work-related activities as required
• Report bi-monthly results to direct supervisor
• Any other projects assigned by direct supervisor
  
  
  

Other Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years progressive Human Resources experience required, preferably in a customer service driven company
• Proven skills in leading and tracking projects
• Strong work ethic, loyal, trustworthy, honest, team player
• Proven ability to multi-task and have regular contact with managers and employees
  
  
  

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee matter-

• Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of personality types
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess superior organizational skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
