The Commercial Project Management and Systems Implementation Manager owns the pipeline for key cross-branded commercial projects, evaluates the impact, and provides recommendations and action plans to deliver business priorities. As head of the PMO, you will be focused on collaborating with leadership across Commercial Brands and other businesses partners to define, prioritize, update, implement, and coordinate commercial tools and projects to support the Strategic Business Plan. The leader will also coach a team of project managers and guide the Project Management Office standard processes and procedures, templates, and methodologies.

This key leader will collaborate closely with the Director of Commercial Services and other key executives to define and prioritize the projects and tools that support North American region business objectives and initiatives that flex based on market conditions. They work closely with the Director of Commercial Services, cross functional business teams and IT on long-term technology stack roadmap as well as annual budget and resource planning. The role is also responsible for assigning a Project Manager, leading continuous improvement, the overall timeline, and most importantly leading the timely and efficient requirements gathering and execution of all key North American projects. This will include supervising the portfolio of projects according to the plan, establishing and supervising key metrics, taking corrective actions as needed and providing progress reporting to the North American leadership team.

An ideal candidate will have shown capabilities to quickly establish themselves as a subject matter expert in commercial tools (primarily our tech stack) and strong business sense to challenge and provide constructive feedback on project success factors, efficient processes as well as lead tough conversations related to change.

Responsibilities


  • Define project portfolios with leadership team derived from the Strategic Business Plan
  • Define project and programs that make up the portfolios and align PMO resources
  • Develop a long-term roadmap with North American Brand and Functional leaders, Commercial Services, and IT and align resources with the portfolio
  • Report portfolio progress and status to the Leadership Team
  • Create and implement new PM process, procedures, forms, templates, and tools
  • Define project management and organizational change training curriculum
  • Define and assess continuous improvement projects for the PMO


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Management, IT, or related field
  • High level knowledge of PM process
  • 10+ years of management experience with proven track record to influence, inspire change, and achieve results
  • Experience in collaborating in matrix organization
  • Agriculture/Construction proven experience a plus

The annual salary for this role is $142,000 - $200,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
