Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Account Management to lead and grow our account management team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams, developing strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Oversee the management of client accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and achieving client satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and work with the team to develop and implement strategic account plans.

Client Services Management

  • Manages the client service team, consisting of both in house and outsource resources.
  • Develop metrics to manage and develop performance and client satisfaction.

Team Leadership And Process Improvement

  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of account managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities to ensure team members are equipped with the latest industry knowledge and skills.
  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Implement process improvements based and introduce best practices for account management and client success.

Revenue Growth And Strategy

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for client acquisition and retention.

Strategic Planning

  • Develop a strategic plan to enhance account management processes and improve client satisfaction.
  • Set clear, measurable goals and KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) for the account management team.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in account management, client services, or a related field
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, tools, and trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRM software and other account management tools.
