Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: • Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, supplemented by course work or training in landscaping. • One (1) year experience with mowers, edgers, trimmers and related landscaping equipment. Experience with application of pre-emergent and post-emergent fertilizers.
Online Application Packet: Interested applicants are required to submit a complete EDJOIN online application and the following attachments: • Copy of High School Diploma or GED - if High School Diploma is international, copy must be translated to verify equivalency. • Copy of Driver's license • Copy of DMV report • Copy of supplemented course work or training in landscaping (if applicable) • If you have taken the exam for Groundsperson II or Substitute Groundsperson II within the last 3 years, attach a copy of your letter indicating passing score of 75% (test scores are good for three years from the original testing date). You will be invited to take the test for a higher score, if you are a new candidate and pass the screening process, you will be invited to test. • Resume - desired *Resumes are not accepted in lieu of a complete application. *If "Record of Work Experience" is left blank on application it will will be considered incomplete.
