Responsibilities

Canyon Creek Behavioral Health:

Canyon Creek Behavioral is open and serving the behavioral health needs of adolescents and adults in Temple, Texas and all surrounding areas of Central Texas. Our behavioral health center will provide treatment options for individuals struggling with psychiatric health, chemical dependency and mood disorders such as anxiety and depression.

Canyon Creek will be a 102-bed facility providing inpatient and outpatient treatment, as well as Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT). Inpatient treatment is a form of acute hospitalization for individuals facing a psychiatric crisis. Outpatient care is provided in a less restrictive treatment environment. Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) can be an effective treatment method for patients with severe, treatment-resistant depression.

Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY

The Outpatient Servies Manager is accountable for managing the day-to-day operations, clinical programming, strategic planning, business development, and financial management of all outpatient programs. This position is also responsible for maximizing referral potentials and developing new business, to achieve the goals and objectives of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, social work, or related mental health field; Preferred: Master’s Degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with psychiatric population; minimum of two (2) years healthcare management experience; Preferred: previous outpatient services experience and business development experienced, desired.

Licensure: Appropriate state licensure in mental health. Preference will be given to candidates holding an LCSW, LPC, PhD and/or PsyD’s.

Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of TJC, HCFA, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
