Language Ability
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, and spreadsheet software.
Education/Experience
Associate's degree in behavioral health field or nursing plus two years related experience Bachelor's degree in any field plus one to two years related experience

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Aide admissions staff in new client intake and client orientation to SMR program in accordance with new client intake policies and procedures.
- Ensures timeliness of clients to and from meals, groups, individual therapy, meetings, and outside appointments in accordance with daily schedule.*
- May conduct morning and evening meditation groups.
- 60% Productivity to be spent providing direct service
- Co-facilitates psychoeducational groups.
- Provides oversight of clients during scheduled recreation/leisure activities, including but not limited to educational films.
- Maintains appropriate documentation in EHR system in accordance with SMR policies and procedures and in a manner which promotes continuity of care.
- Supports onsite staff with the enforcement of and accountability for rules and guidelines as outlined in handbooks.*
- Assists staff and clients in the administration and performance of urinalysis collection and breathalyzer testing in accordance with policies and procedures.*
- Responsible for the safe transportation of all clients in accordance with the SMR transportation safety guide and procedures.
- Communicates concerning client behavior to appropriate staff in a manner which staff fully understands.*
- Assists in crisis intervention as appropriate in accordance to policy and procedures.*
- Responsible for transporting prospective and/or existing clients that may be transferring facilities, admitting, or discharging from SMR in accordance with SMR Transportation Safety Guide and Procedures.*
- Interacts with and supervises clients during on-site activities in a manner which protects client confidentiality and supports client care.*
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
