Job Description
Responsible for identifying improvement opportunities and executing projects in a warehousing environment using Lean principles, Six Sigma, and/or other improvement methodologies. Assisting with establishing productivity standards on our current client base. Initially this candidate will work very closely with on-site Management to conduct and validate time studies of various accounts we serve in the L.A. market.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Experience in AutoCAD (optional not necessary)
Experience operating basic tools and equipment in a warehousing environment.
Ability to lift up to 20 LBs and work on your feet a large portion of the day.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand concept of process, utilization and methods.
- Strong understanding of statistical variations.
- Use the Theory of constraints to identify opportunities for cost reduction, increase throughput, workflow improvements, etc.
- Responsible for enhancing/developing Standardized Operating Procedures and training.
- Develop and train other employees on new SOPs and training. Utilizes AutoCAD software to design layout, workflow, and material handling processes
- Communicate with management and other personnel to develop production and design standards
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor s degree or currently pursuing a BS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
