Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Lead advanced cybersecurity efforts for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, OR Reconnaissance systems (C4ISR) and IT systems, AND Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on research, design, OR development activities. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
- You will serve in an advanced level cybersecurity position, responsible for leading research, design, development, test, and sustainment activities for Command, Control, Computers, Communication, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance.
- You will serve as a member/cybersecurity lead of an integrated product team (IPT) composed of a multidisciplinary team and will work under the direction of the engineers, scientists, technical specialists, and technical leads.
- You will acquire a working knowledge of business and technical policies, process, methods and techniques used at NIWC.
- You will assign work in team of projects objections and basic priorities and is available for consultation in resolving issues.
- You will review work for accuracy through spot checks, and through observation of the employee work.
