The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, driving Lean initiatives, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve significant improvements in efficiency, productivity, and quality.
As the Global DB ISC Lean and Strategy Leader you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance market competitiveness
- Leading cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities, and develop and implement Lean initiatives to drive business results
- Collaborating with operations teams to analyze processes, identify waste, and develop solutions to improve efficiency and productivity
- Developing and implement metrics and dashboards to measure performance and track progress
- Conducting process analysis and mapping to identify opportunities for improvement
- Developing and implement process improvements, including automation, standardization, and optimization
- Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement strategic plans and business initiatives
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
- Provide coaching and mentoring to operations teams on Lean principles and practices
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration)
- 7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on operations, Lean, and strategy
- 2 years’ experience with value stream mapping and problem-solving.
- Project experience with Initial automation experience (robotics, IIoT).
- 5 additional years of experience in leading projects and initiatives.
- Proven track record of driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing market competitiveness
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Lean principles and practices, including the Toyota Production System and the Lean Enterprise
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles and practices, including process analysis, waste reduction, and quality improvement
- Proficient in software such as Excel, Visio, and Lean tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen Events)
- Experience with data analysis and statistical process control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
