We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst in the Finance Operations team. In this role, you will be working within cross-functional teams, analyzing data, and presenting findings. As a Business Analyst, you will work within the Finance Operations organization to identify issues with customer billing, and various other data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collecting data from various sources such as Netsuite, Salesforce, and other financial systems.
  • Streamlining data collection methods to create automated and easy-to-use routines.
  • Designing databases and data systems.
  • Assist with any billing system migration activities.
  • Maintaining databases and data systems by addressing errors and monitoring performance
  • Analyzing collected data and putting it into a format that others can easily interpret.
  • Interpreting data trends and patterns as they relate to billing and forecasting.
  • Preparing reports for organizational leadership to use in a business setting.
  • Create data visualization and dashboards that communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborating with other employees, including engineers and programmers, to determine areas of improvement in relation to data.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in related areas of study, including: Business (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Org Behavior, Operations & Supply Chain), Economics, Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, Liberal Arts (e.g., Psychology, Industrial and Labor Relations).
  • Strong problem solver able to effectively operate in high pressure and dynamic situations.
  • Demonstrated (through professional or academic experiences) ability to:
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and use analytical tools, including Excel. Ability to use PowerBI (or similar tools like Tableau) a plus.
  • Synthesize information and distill key takeaways.
  • Work at a fast pace and in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Execute projects.
  • Work collaboratively and independently.
  • Highly flexible; able to respond to a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer / client focus and an orientation towards results.
  • Self-starter with good time management to meet deadlines.
  • Strong experience in MS Excel (e.g., vlookups, countifs, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
