Job Summary

As part of the Operations Optimization leadership team, this role supports the management of a dedicated cohort of traveling and remote dietitians; participates with in-unit clinical immersions as required through risk remediation, and leads the work authorization, scheduling, and financial management associated with this team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Directs traveling, remote and tele-nutrition options including managing the remote team, telehealth requisitions and scheduling, shared services job orders and manages the financial charges associated with these events.
  • Communicates and responds to Nutrition & Wellness needs requested by CCL operations leadership and shared services partners.
  • Develops nutrition systems/programs for ambassadors and action plans which provide current nutrition knowledge and management skills, as needs are identified and as assigned.
  • Evaluate and update existing programs as changes are identified and/or assigned. Program updates may include but are not limited to Advance Remediation regulatory deficiencies, POM for remote and traveling team members, development feedback for consumer and patient education materials, standards for remote and telehealth nutrition services management, overseeing learning and development programs for the team, including applying for continuing education, support performance improvement initiatives and licensure credentialing.
  • Project manage and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders to optimize outcomes and promote focus, accountability, performance, transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Leverages existing nutrition systems/programs to promote and support goals and initiatives as defined by CCL HG Nutrition, Wellness & Sustainability department and develops new ones as directed.
  • Coordinates development of and review of nutrition resources within the competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrates strong technical and scientific knowledge with an awareness of management consideration.
  • Projects and practices consistent ownership attributes, which provide a high level of customer service at all points of contact.
  • Must work closely with other corporate and regional team staff to support field and corporate initiatives.
  • Reads and complies with all policies and procedures of CCL HG and Compass as appropriate.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Participates in Nutrition, Wellness & Sustainability department meetings and aligns to performance standards of regional peers. Maintains indirect reporting relationship with department VP.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) and/or have licensure/certification credentialed with CDR
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of professional clinical experience in senior living skilled nursing facility, assisted living, rehabilitation, and/or acute care environment with a minimum of two (2) years experience as a Clinical Nutrition Manager or multi-unit responsibilities
  • Master’s degree preferred in Nutrition and Dietetics. Serve Safe, Choke Save and Allergen certification encouraged
  • Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position is home office based but requires national travel up to 50% of a full-time schedule. Scheduling may occur on weekends or holidays determined by support needs and transition of business.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Required to reside within commutable distance to a major airport.
  • Computer knowledge and the ability to work with multiple software programs is essential. Training will be provided on the requisition portal, financial management systems, and departmental reporting requirements.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme cold, and extreme heat. Involves repetitive motion, walking and/or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment could be loud and distractive.

  • Able to work with confidential employee, client, and CCL Hospitality Group information

  • Strong computer skills, intermediate to advanced levels including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office
