Are you our new Key Account Manager, ready to use your passion and skills to increase STEAM educational experiences for students and teachers?

You must live in the Pacific Northwest, preferably the Greater Seattle Metro area. The mission of Sales at LEGO education is to bring innovative STEAM learning to schools and districts that inspire K-12 students to think creatively and learn critical 21st century skills.. and have some fun doing it! This is a field-based sales role, effectively managing day-to-day responsibilities while traveling for in-person meetings for strategic opportunities as needed. Core Responsibilities



  • Own and lead the end to end sales process, which will include the following territories Pacific Northwest (Oregon and Washington)
  • Persuasively influence and inform district level administrators about the LEGO Education value proposition to both increase market share and the number of students positively impacted by using the LEGO Learning System.
  • Drive growth in an assigned territory by exceeding annual sales targets.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting results by demonstrating strong pipeline development skills and detailed market insights.
  • Consistently build a strong sales pipeline through effective prospecting activities including cold calling, in person meetings, successful networking and creative marketing initiatives.
  • Accurately document all sales opportunities and associated activities in the company provided CRM system with a focus on data driven decision making.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of industry and territory trends, funding, and influencers within the defined territory.
  • Develop strategic prospecting and territory plans to grow revenue and market share from new and current customers.
  • Deliver compelling and persuasive product presentation in both in-person and virtual settings.
  • Handle existing customer relationships to ensure high levels of retention, product usage and organic growth.
  • Run the RFP process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of competitive proposals

A critical part of the LEGO Education sales team, is driving significant growth and new customer acquisition across the US. The account manager will be responsible for growing their base of business within a defined set of accounts with a strong focus on outbound prospecting. Account managers are tightly aligned with marketing for lead generation and prospecting campaigns while working with other cross-functional teams to bring complex solutions to their customers.

Do you have what it takes?



  • 5+ years of K-12 education sales.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with preference towards industry related fields or equivalent work experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Experience collaborating across functions (Marketing, Grants and Funding, Solution Architects, other Account Managers) to enhance team performance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to conduct persuasive presentations
  • Appetite to learn with change readiness and a growth mindset.
  • Experience with effectively using CRM platforms and account management
  • Consistent track record of being a top sales performer
  • Experience leading large, high-volume sales territories
  • Strong interest and appetite for both warm and cold prospecting



Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $109,200 - $163,800 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
