Sanitation Manager

General Summary

A dedicated and experienced Sanitation Manager is needed to ensure that our facility maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and safety of our products and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. The Sanitation Manager will lead a team of sanitation workers across multiple shifts, develop and implement sanitation policies, and work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sanitation management, preferably within the food production industry, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sanitation policies and procedures.
• Lead and manage a team of sanitation workers.
• Manage the sanitation budget and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain sanitation schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Provide training to staff on proper sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sanitation management, preferably in a food production environment.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation and hygiene practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is required; English proficiency is necessary.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and sanitation management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
