Summary

The project manager is responsible for managing key projects with one or multiple strategic customers for the organization. The individual is responsible for ensuring projects are on-time, budget, and delivers an excellent customer service experience within the projects assigned.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and manage key projects within strategic, large key customer(s) for the organization.
  • Ensure projects are planned and documented properly with key milestones laid out for internal and external customers.
  • Complete ownership of project even though tasks may be completed by both internal and external contacts.
  • Timely completion of tasks and tracking of task completion communication throughout project.
  • Communication of project status to all stakeholders at the agreed upon frequency.
  • This will also require customer communication in which we strive to enrich our relationship with key customer contacts.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to represent Endries in a positive manner to all levels of customer contacts and our internal leadership team
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to drive process improvements.
  • Possesses business acumen and a broad based understanding of business models
  • Demonstrates solid technical and research skills.
  • Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proven ability to independently handle multiple tasks simultaneously, deal with ambiguity and to complete assignments given aggressive time constraints.
  • Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Required Education And Experience

  • Bachelors degree Business or related field
  • 3+ years of related experience, i.e. project management, account management, customer service.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the fastener distribution industry or related experience strongly preferred.
