Drafter

Job Title: DrafterJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. The Drafter will be responsible for creating new drawings and modifying existing assembly drawings for production, including casting, forging, machining, sheet metal, and weldment using AutoCAD. The role also involves maintaining all required Engineering Department documentation, managing AutoCAD templates and libraries, finalizing product detail drawings and bills of material, and designing custom products using existing tools.

Hard Skills

• Associates degree in a technical field
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with piping and vessels
• Exposure to ASME Section VIII, Div. 1
• Strong AutoCAD capabilities
• Strong mechanical skills
• Familiar with engineering drawings and industrial piping nomenclature
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Applications

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Buffalo, New York.

The Drafter must be able to perform job duties with minimal guidance and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive and resourceful attitude.
