Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Management: Develop and implement account management strategies for Caliber’s most critical clients, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
- Client Relationship Development: Establish and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders at client organizations to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Revenue Growth & Upsell Opportunities: Drive new revenue streams by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new product offerings to existing clients.
- Client Retention: Ensure the highest level of client satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement, addressing client challenges, and providing strategic solutions.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the field training/talent development, marketing, IT, and operations teams to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs and drive value.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Stay informed on market trends, customer demands, and competitive pressures. Use this knowledge to inform strategy and provide feedback to product and sales teams.
- Contract Negotiations: Lead and manage contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for Caliber and its clients.
- Team Leadership: Develop and mentor a high-performing team of account managers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer-centricity.
- Reporting & Performance Analysis: Analyze account performance, track key metrics, and present business reviews and revenue forecasts to executive leadership.
- Travel: Approximately 50% travel is required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and represent Caliber at key engagements.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in account management, business development, or sales, with a focus on managing strategic or large insurance enterprise accounts. At least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven track record of working in the collision repair industry, insurance clients with experience managing large, complex relationships.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with a history of building, managing, and motivating successful teams.
- Sales & Negotiation Expertise: Deep expertise in sales strategy and contract negotiation, particularly with large or complex accounts.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze client needs and create customized solutions that drive value for both the client and the business.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, often on short notice.
