Data Analyst

This is a W-2 position only (no staffing agencies or contractors). Candidates must currently reside in the U.S.

Fully Remote - Manager would prefer someone local to the Bloomfield CT or Philadelphia PA office for conversion purposes

Role Summary/Key Objectives

This position supports the Global Experience & Identity (GXI) organization, Client Engineering, and Service Performance & Experience (SPX) group. The individual will be responsible for interpreting various forms of data and developing and maintaining data analytic technologies and presentations to support GXI Business Management and Software License Management.

Must be comfortable working with numbers and budgets.

Specific Areas Of Responsibility

• Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand data needs.
• Technology Selection: Choose appropriate tools and platforms for each scenario.
• Prioritization: Partner with others to schedule work intake and deliverables.
• Data Collection: Obtain data from multiple sources as needed, continuously streamlining processes.
• Data Cleaning: Ensure data quality by removing duplicates, errors, and outliers.
• Data Modeling: Design database structures, including data selection, categories, and relationships.
• Data Interpretation: Use statistical tools to identify patterns and trends.
• Data Visualization: Create charts, graphs, and dashboards to present findings.
• Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures.
• Predictive Modeling: Use data to predict future trends or behaviors.
• Data Mining: Explore large datasets to identify patterns or relationships; navigate complex environments with various data sources.
• Prescriptive Analytics: Provide actionable results to drive business decisions.
• Diagnostic Analytics: Identify root causes of technical and business challenges.
• Descriptive Analytics: Assess trends over specific time periods.
• Predictive Analytics: Forecast likely outcomes based on patterns and tendencies.
• Reporting Playbook: Create and maintain a playbook outlining all reports and tools developed.
• Maintenance: Maintain all resulting data analytic solutions.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
• At least three years of experience across analytics layers (ingest, store, analyze, predict, visualize, API, AI) and supporting technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to focus and retain information.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively with minimal supervision
