Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
Although each position has its own unique duties and responsibilities, the following listing applies to every employee.
- Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding payroll matters
- Manage check release mailbox and process on weekly payroll or off cycle run.
- Process off cycle checks as requested by QA or Administration
- Assist in communication with managers for outstanding time off requests and unapproved timesheets
- Checks figures for accuracy and necessary approvals
- Reviews payroll documentation for accuracy through audit reports and makes any necessary adjustments. Obtains necessary approvals.
- Works closely with Human Resources and Accounting on all payroll related issues
- Maintain accurate payroll records and reports and additional add-ons to employees' paychecks
- Assist with preparation of various payroll and management reports
- Assist with processing garnishments, deductions, and PTO accruals
- Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
- Track and process employee referrals for qualification and pay-outs
- Assists the billing dept with resolving errors
- Process new hire orientation pay requests

- Must be able to demonstrate initiative, strives to continually improve processes and relationships.
- Must be proficient in MS word, Excel, and Power Point software programs.
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbally), excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and employees
- Ability to work independently, self-starter
- Able to handle highly confidential information
- Must be able to multi task
