Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join our team in Mesquite, TX. As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, leadership experience, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, leadership experience, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of products, ensuring that all processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate the flow of materials and products.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, shipment status, and team performance.
- Assist in the hiring, training, and evaluation of warehouse staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
