Overview
The ILS Content Designer supports the ILS Training and Development department by assisting with needs assessments and designing learning content, materials, and documentation.
This position reports to the Director of ILS Operations Development.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Design and produce engaging content across various platforms, including WorkRamp LMS, Classroom facilitation, Email, and Slack.
- Collaborate on content strategies that align with NFI Industries’ business goals and target audience in the ILS division.
- Work closely with the ILS Director of Operations Development, the ILS Training and Development Manager, ILS product teams, and stakeholders to ensure content is aligned with brand messaging and supports business objectives.
- Review the detailed design with key stakeholders and business subject matter experts as needed and update the course design based on business input.
- Assist with the creation, proofreading, and tracking of materials, operating documentation, and courses.
- Maintain training materials per the needs of the broad ILS organization.
- Ensure all content adheres to NFI’s brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice and tone.
- Assist with other training and development responsibilities as needed.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to create relevant and impactful content that resonates with our audience.
- 1-3 years of experience with instructional design is required. Experience working in a learning department is preferred.
- 3PL experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proficient in Canva, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
- High level of attention to detail, quality, and results focus.
- Ability to write learning or procedural documentation using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate a courteous, helpful attitude and professional demeanor.
